Our Commitment
To achieve Net Zero, we commit to:
• Monitor our carbon emissions annually and set measurable reduction targets.
• Invest in energy-efficient appliances and low-emission utilities in our accommodation units.
• Prioritise local suppliers and sustainable procurement practices.
• Use digital-first systems to reduce unnecessary printing and travel.
• Encourage and educate staff, tenants, and stakeholders on sustainability.
Through these actions, we aim to create a service model that promotes housing stability and community wellbeing while reducing environmental harm.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
As a newly established organisation, 2025 represents our first year of operations and will form the baseline for future reduction tracking.
We will use the SME Carbon Footprint Calculator (Carbon Trust) to measure emissions in:
• Scope 1: Direct emissions (e.g. fuel used in company vehicles)
• Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased electricity, gas, water
• Scope 3: Business travel, staff commuting, supply chain activity, waste

Emissions Reduction Targets

• Ensure 100% of suppliers confirm environmental compliance by 2027.
• Aim to become a paperless organisation by 2026.
